The Atlanta Chamber Players have performed in over one hundred cities in the United States. In more than a hundred performances a year, the Players present subscription concerts, radio and television broadcasts, college and university residencies, and touring programs. Some members of the Players have left for other positions around the country since this tape was made. Performers for this recording are Malanie Cramer, flute; Robert Brown, clarinet; Mowry Pearson, violin; Pamela Askew, viola; Paul Cohen, cello; and Paula Peace, piano.
Pianist Frank Weinstock has performed throughout the United States and in Great Britain and has appeared at the Aspen, Skaneateles, Deer Valley and Eastern summer music festivals. Weinstock has taught at Princeton University and is currently a member of the artist faculty of the University of Cincinnati.
Phillip Rehfeldt, Professor of Woodwind Instruments and Musicology at the University of Redlands, performs regularly with the Tahquitz Wind Quintet, Redlands Symphony Orchestra, Redlands Bowl Summer Festival Orchestra, Riverside Chamber Orchestra and San Bernardinao Civic Light Opera, and has recorded more than forty contemporary clarinet works.
Lynn Raley earned degrees at Southern Methodist University and the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati. Raley has performed new music in the USA, Canada, the Netherlands and Taiwan.
